The following policies apply to all customers.
Legal Notice
All notices from Qwest Technical Services will be posted on our web site. Notices made from you to us shall
be made by e-mail.
Terms of Use
This site may contain other notices, which must be observed and followed. Information on this site may
contain technical inaccuracies or other errors. Information on our site may be changed or updated with or
without notice. Qwest Technical Services reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, and/or
cancel orders in our sole discretion.
Placing Orders
Orders may be placed in person, online or on the phone. For security purposes, we do not accept orders via
email or fax. Once an order has been placed, customers have 5 business days to pay for their order. After
the 5th day, the order will be cancelled.
Cancelling Orders
Once an order is placed, it can not be cancelled. Please be sure that all of your questions are answered,
and you have ordered the appropriate items before submitting your order.
Shipping & Delivery
At this time, Qwest Technical Services ships merchandise only to locations within the Continental United
States, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. Your order will be shipped within 24-48 hours
after your payment has cleared. When your item has been shipped, we will email you the tracking number at
the email address you provide. The shipping company that will be used is USPS. Handling and processing
fees are included with shipping costs and will be added to all orders.
Note: We are not responsible for service transit time. Transit times are provided by the carrier you choose,
and may exclude weekends and holidays, depending on package origin and destination.
Shipping Insurance
Shipping Insurance is optional and will be at the normal carrier rates. We are not responsible for loss, theft,
or damage of your item if it is not insured.
Sales Tax
New York State requires us to collect sales tax for merchandise and services. Individuals receiving
computer repair services in the state of New York will be obligated by law to pay sales tax. Individuals who
purchase retail sales items from us that are shipped or delivered to individuals in New York State will be
charged an additional 7.75 % of the total amount due.
Example: Kelly Jones, who lives in Mayville, broke the hard drive in her laptop. She had a 160 GB hard
drive and a genuine product key for Windows XP Professional. She will have to pay for a new hard drive
and operating system installation. The hard drive costs $75 and the operating system installation costs
$40, totaling $115. We are required by law to collect an additional $8.91 for sales tax for the merchandise
and service.
Shipping of PayPal Orders
Orders that are paid by PayPal will be shipped to confirmed addresses only. We will not ship to any address
that is not confirmed. If you want to pay by PayPal, please ensure that you address is confirmed. If your
address is not confirmed, your payment will be refunded and you will be asked to confirm your address prior
to resubmitting your payment.

WNY Barter (Businesses only)
Please contact us before paying by Business Check, Cashier's Check, Money gram, Money Order, Personal
Check, Western Union or WNY Barter. Failure to do so may result in your payment, check or money order
being returned. All orders paid by check or money order will be held for clearance. This process normally
takes no more than 5 business days, but may take up to 30 business days to complete. To expedite your
order, please pay by PayPal. PayPal payments must be sent to admin@qwest-tech.com.
NOTICE TO SUBSCRIBERS PAYING BY PERSONAL CHECK:
WILLFULLY WRITING A CHECK WITH INSUFFICIENT FUNDS IN YOUR CHECKING ACCOUNT IS
ILLEGAL IN ALL STATES. IF YOU ARE MAKING A PAYMENT BY PERSONAL CHECK, PLEASE MAKE
SURE THAT THE FUNDS ARE READILY AVAILABLE IN YOUR CHECKING ACCOUNT. IF YOUR CHECK
IS RETURNED TO US AS UNPAID, THE FOLLOWING WILL HAPPEN:
• YOU WILL BE CHARGED AN INSUFFICIENT FUNDS FEE IN THE AMOUNT OF $35 OR THE MOST
ALLOWED BY YOUR STATE.
• THE LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY IN YOUR AREA WILL BE CONTACTED REGARDING
THE RETURNED CHECK.
WE WILL NOT ACCEPT STARTER CHECKS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
Returns and Refunds (30 Day Guarantee)
If you are unsatisfied with the item you purchase from us, you may return it to us with-in 30 days of the day
you receive the item. We will refund your purchase minus a restocking fee of 25% unless waived by one of
our employees. We will waive the fee automatically if a customer has received the wrong product or a
defective product. If one of our customers receives the wrong product, or if the product is defective, we will
also pay for the return shipping costs. Otherwise, the customer must pay for the return shipping costs. If one
of our customers receives a defective product, we will also pay for the return shipping cost and refund or
exchange the product only if insurance is purchased.
